Our intact 6 3/4 year-old GSD has been going through some prostate issues the past couple of years; it has to led to a couple UTI's, and now it has turned into chronic prostatitis to the point that drips of blood are coming out of his penis. We always treat it immediately and it resolves, but it does come back. The vet said recent imaging shows an enlarged prostate but as it's become "chronic" they reluctantly recommend neutering him. We feed him a good diet, not raw but a quality food, and he is a good well behaved dog, blood tests are good, kidney, etc. Just a prostate that likes to act up. We are hesitent to have the procedure done given the many benifits of remaining intact; he is well behaved and has a good personality, but it might have to be done for his health. We were told because of his age, we shouldn't notice any change in her overall personality and all of his development has been complete. It's still a struggle knowing what to do.

A piece of my heart was brutally killed by a neighbors German Shepherd recently. ON MY PROPERTY! Yoshi is a miniature schnauzer and he owned my heart. I don’t care what happens to me but if you’re not a true animal lover you can’t possibly understand and I get that but please don’t judge the people who are!! I arrested my Giant Schnauzers osteosarcoma in 2022 by feeding raw hamburger and raw chicken with bones in every day , this protocol is 7 days a week multivitamin, 880mgs Fenbendazole pure from vet compounding pharmacy per day, 8mgs of 1% Ivermectin liquid for animals which is 8/10ths of one CC which is .021 ml/cc per Kg. LDN 2.5mgs from compounding pharmacy , 2-Cimetidine x 3 times a day , one Loratidine x 1 per day , Benadryl x 1 per day and 200mgs melatonin per day , I'm going to look into artemisinin read about it for 7 years never needed it , she (giant schnauzer) has perfect blood work and is thriving no lung problems and C reactive protein is normal started this as soon as I found broken toe nail took three months to arrest this post is June 2024 How am I able to cure osteosarcoma but a doctor can't they just want to amputate which will give you about 2-3 months ,really about a week before they start going down hill waste of money and very archaic for the dog sad this is all the vets are taught and know and chemo therapy is not well tolerated in dogs chemo kills healthy cells which release glucose which speeds up the cancer pathogen by giving more food glucose and Immunotherapy doesn't work either vets don't care they want to clean your wallet out and prey on your love for your dog

I love this! Great information for pet parents with dogs with mobility issues! My "old man" has Addison's, Osteoarthritis in the rear, and tendinitis in his front elbows. I wish my Vet. would have recommended the many options that are out there! I have him in swim therapy, got him a stroller, harness for his tendinitis. And now looking at a harness to assist him when he does walk. Oh, and some non slip socks! Thank you, thank you, thank you! This has brought me to tears of joy knowing that this isn't "The End" for him.

Pre ordered your Forever dog life recipe book and have been trying to log in to redeem the free recipes promised since the book arrived. Two days now and still can't log in. Not with a pdf. To everyone that think this is Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome (FHS) it might just be from a food allergy. If your cat does this after changing their food to a different brand it might be a food allergy problem. Food allergies make your cat very itchy to the point they are very stressed out and tail chasing is a symptom of a very stressed out cat. Hope this helps some people not stress out like I did...

This stresses me out. My dog has been suffering for months of IBD. My vet has done everything Dr Becker has said that traditional vets do & he’s still not doing any better. Even the IMS doesn’t know what to do. Ugh. He is a 8 year old & has lost 20 lbs. It’s awful.

I haven't noticed my dog skipping on her hind legs and I do watch her closely. But what is noticed is her sometimes falling up the stairs or taking her time going up. Outside of that, she appears normal when she walks or run. Took her to the vet and had X-rays done and was told she has this Luxiation patella and he immediately recommended surgery. Didn't explain any other options like what I'm hearing on this video. I'm thinking it's a money thing with him. I'm not going to subject my baby to surgery just so he can bag some money as I'm feeling like he's doing off many dogs. My Yorkie is only 4 yrs old so I have time to work with her while she's in the early stage of her knee issues before I would consider any form of surgery. Glad I came across this video, it definitely gives me hope.

My Chihuahua has allergies & he gets yeast infections ALL the time in his ears & paws. I've looked at ingredients on dog kibble bags & most actually HAVE yeast in their ingredients. I've been thinking of cooking for him instead of feeding kibble. Everytime I take him to vet, they want to put him on antibiotics & it ALWAYS gets WORSE instead of better. My dog WON'T allow me to clean his ears, nor trim his nails & I just don't have enough hands & arms to hold him still so I gotta take him to the vet

And that's why neither of my dogs have gotten any of those. Rabies only if a titer test show No antibodies.

The Vinegar rinses ALWAYS drives my dog insane. I don't know if it burns her, or thr cracks in the skin are burning like a paper cut with salt???? Haven't found a Good rinse that she can handle
